J030--Preventive Maintenance to Powered Industrial Trucks at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8), intends to negotiate a sole-source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Lift Trucks & Parts, Inc. to support the VA Caribbean Healthcare System. As the exclusive authorized service provider for Crown Equipment in Puerto Rico, the identified vendor will provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for powered industrial trucks managed by the Facilities Management Service. This requirement includes the provision of all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform maintenance as defined in the performance work statement.

This procurement is classified under NAICS 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, and PSC J030, MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- MECHANICAL POWER TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT. The government is utilizing the authority of the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a) and 12.201-1(e)(3) for this intent to sole-source.
