The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Requirements contract for Asphalt located at Fort Drum, NY. The Government intends to award a single contract for Asphalt located at Fort Drum, NY. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Fixed Unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts) with Economic Price Adjustment (IAW FAR 16.203 Fixed Price Contracts with Economic Price Adjustment) and options (IAW FAR 17.2 Options.) This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business Administration Certified 8A firms. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with construction of new, and repair/replacement of existing, asphalt concrete pavement at Fort Drum, New York, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated ordering period is April 2013 through March 2014 with Base plus two (2) one-year option periods. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB number W911S2-13-B-8000 in the subject line. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, size standard $33.5 Million. The Government anticipates the total estimated cost of this Requirements Contract between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 for the base ordering period and each exercised optional ordering period. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice.
