SENSEI (Sensing for Interdiction) Electro-Optic Infrared System Technical Refresh For Counter Unmanded Arriel Systems (C-UAS)

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, acting on behalf of the Department of the Navy, issued this Request for Information (RFI) to identify interested parties for the SENSEI (Sensing for Interdiction) Electro-Optic Infrared System Technical Refresh. This initiative supports Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) objectives through the Expeditionary Missions Consortium – Crane (EMC2). The government intends to use the information gathered to potentially shape a future Request for Solutions (RFS) and award a Project Order under the EMC2 Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. § 4022.

The scope of this research and development effort is classified under NAICS 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology). While the primary place of performance is Crane, Indiana, participation is restricted to members of the EMC2 consortium. Membership is a prerequisite for viewing the full RFI and accessing associated technical documents, some of which carry Distribution C and D restrictions requiring specific requests for release.
