The NTV’s include all-terrain vehicles, side-by-side “Polaris” style vehicles, and a variety of trailers such as gooseneck, flatbed utility, and boxed/enclosed trailers with a max curb weight of 10,000lbs. None of the GOV’s or NTV’s are electric.
Tire/wheel service, repair, and replacement for GOV & NTV shall be provided by the vendor at both local and remote locations. Local is defined within 50 miles of NSWC CRANE. In remote support cases (outside of 50 miles from NSWC CRANE), the vendor may subcontract the tire & wheel service requirements by coordinating with an accredited tire/wheel service provider in the vicinity of the GOV or NTV to meet the Government’s service completion timeline requirements. The Government will provide transportation of the GOV or NTV to and from the vendor location, except in remote service cases.
Any maintenance or material support not considered part of the annual or preventive maintenance will be submitted as a separate quote for evaluation and consideration by the Government.
GFE support for the installed/mounted equipment is required for local and remote locations, and includes but is not limited to:
Small engine support for generators ranging from 2kw to 26kW.
Antenna mounts and hoist systems.
Trailer leveling components.
Internal electrical wiring connected to the installed GFE (Electronic) is not anticipated under this effort.
At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for contractual efforts. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
