THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract to WASC Senior College & University Commission, 985 Atlantic Ave, Suite 100, Alameda, CA 94501. Under the authority of FAR 13.106 (1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency’s requirements. The requirement is for Naval Post Graduate School (NPS) degree program accreditation fee and 2026 site visit. Per 10 USC Sec. 7048, the Naval Postgraduate School, in order to grant a degree, is required to maintain accreditation. This service request covers 1) a required site visit with travel and evaluation and 2) the annual accreditation dues and maintenance fees. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
