NEXT GENERATION SCALABLE DATA ENGINEERING, OPERATIONS, AND INFORMATICS SUPPORT FOR OPEN SCIENCE (NEXT GEN)

NASA has awarded contract 80MSFC26D0003 to Development Seed of Washington to provide research and development services for the Office of Data Science and Informatics (ODSI) at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This performance-based, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award has a maximum potential value of $76 million. The contract schedule begins with a phase-in period on May 15, 2026, followed by a two-year base ordering period and three one-year options that could extend services through June 2031.

The scope of work includes scientific research and development support such as system architecture expertise, operations and maintenance of ODSI-developed tools and platforms, and systematic approaches to data curation, management, and stewardship. Development Seed will provide subject matter expertise in informatics, data science, and information management while developing and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to advance science data systems.
