The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, under the Department of the Navy, is conducting a procurement for ADC MK 2 devices to support the sustainment requirements of the United States Navy Submarine and Surface Fleet. As a legacy ACAT III, Post Milestone C program, the ADC MK 2 continues to be procured to bridge inventory needs following delays in the implementation of the ADC MK 5. Production requirements are driven by current product specifications, fleet inventory sustainment levels, and projected Foreign Military Sales demands. Current schedule estimates project the phase-out of these devices to begin around fiscal year 2026.

Beyond the production of hardware, the requirement includes incidental services such as non-recurring engineering, special analysis, trade-off and ad-hoc studies, and software analyses. The selected provider will also perform hardware repair, refurbishment, and modification to support government in-water testing, as well as the implementation of improvements to delivered equipment.
