The Defense Logistics Agency, through DLA Disposition Services HQ, is conducting a sale of surplus property under solicitation number 33-6031. This opportunity involves the sale of used pad-mount transformers located at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan. The items are classified under PSC 5950 for coils and transformers. This is a property sale rather than a service contract, and interested parties must submit their responses by the deadline of June 9, 2026.
The transformers offered for sale are classified as non-PCB according to 40 CFR 761 standards based on performed analysis. Due to these environmental regulations, purchasers are restricted from using Statement of Intent destinations in states with PCB regulations more stringent than federal levels—such as California, Oregon, and Washington—unless the specific transformer PCB levels fall below the state-mandated thresholds. Supporting documentation for the sale includes nine attachments consisting of laboratory analyses, data plate images, and various photographs of the units.
