Fabrication of PIP-II ORBUMP MAGNET COIL ASSEMBLY

The Department of Energy, through Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) and Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG), is seeking proposals for the fabrication and delivery of PIP-II ORBUMP Magnet Coil Assemblies. This work supports the Proton Improvement Plan II (PIP-II) project, an upgrade to Fermilab’s accelerator complex for the international Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment. Requirements include a 34-week delivery schedule for the prototype and specific corporate experience in precision electromagnet fabrication.
