Repair EGI 764+429+JAIC
Repair EGI 764+429+JAIC
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is soliciting for the repair of EGI 764+429+JAIC components used on MH-60T aircraft. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number 70Z03826QJ0000095, follows commercial item procedures under FAR Subpart 12.201. The agency plans to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the repair of eight units under National Stock Number (NSN) 1680-01-HS1-9691. While the requirement is currently unrestricted under NAICS code 488190, the government has identified Honeywell International (Cage Code 0BFA5) as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and primary source. The agency expects a sole-source award to the OEM because of proprietary technical data, but other OEM-authorized sources with the necessary expertise may submit quotations. Repairs must be completed by the OEM or an authorized facility that can provide full traceability and airworthiness certification. Quotations are due by June 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT, with an anticipated award date around June 11, 2026. The solicitation includes five attachments covering pricing, the technical statement of work, terms and conditions, a redacted justification for other than full and open competition, and Florida wage determinations. This commercial item acquisition is currently unrestricted, though the government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Honeywell International as the OEM. Because the USCG does not own the technical drawings or specifications, all repairs must be handled by the OEM or an authorized facility that can ensure airworthiness and traceability.
