R--HOOF TRIMMING FOR WILD HORSES

The Bureau of Land Management Idaho State Office is soliciting hoof trimming services for wild horses under solicitation number L15PS01206. This procurement is designated as an SBA (SBA) set-aside and is classified under NAICS code 115210 for Support Activities for Animal Production and PSC code R. The required services will take place at the Bruneau Off Range Corrals, a new facility housing horses that have transitioned from other holding areas and are accustomed to feedlot environments. Due to recent care provided at previous locations, the government expects the volume of hoof trimming services may be reduced during the first six months of the first performance year.

The selected contractor is responsible for providing all necessary equipment, specifically including grinders and blades. A pre-bid conference was scheduled for October 15, 2015, at the Bruneau facility to provide clarifications regarding the work site. All proposals must be submitted by the deadline of October 23, 2015, and must be delivered to the Bureau of Land Management office at 1387 S. Vinnell Way in Boise. Bids delivered directly to the Bruneau Off Range Corrals will not be accepted.
