Overhaul of Wheel Assemblies for C-130J Aircraft
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is seeking quotations for the overhaul of wheel assemblies used on C-130J aircraft. This requirement is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number 70Z03826QH0000073, following FAR Part 12 procedures for commercial services. The agency plans to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order through a full and open, unrestricted competition. The work involves the teardown, inspection, corrosion control, and parts replacement for wheel assemblies, with an initial requirement for 10 units. An option for increased quantities under FAR 52.217-6 allows the government to request up to 13 additional units, bringing the potential total to 23. Facilities must hold valid FAA, OEM, or DoD certifications, and all components must be delivered with airworthiness documentation, such as FAA Form 8130-3. The submission deadline is June 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM EDT. The government will evaluate offers using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, and pricing must remain valid for at least 60 days after submission. The agency intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for technical overhauls of HC-130J components, specifically NSN 1630-01-561-4960. The USCG Aviation Logistics Center requires overhaul services for C-130J wheel assemblies to maintain Ready for Issue (RFI) inventory for depot and field units.
