The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane intends to modify Task Order N0016423FW007 under Basic Ordering Agreement N0016422GWS60 to provide engineering and logistics services for several airborne electronic systems. The scope includes support for the Low Band Transmitter-Antenna Group, Low Band Consolidated Antenna Group, Band 9/10 Transmitter, and the AN/ALQ-240 Electronic Support Measures (ESM) Scanner Antenna Unit for the P-8A Poseidon. Additional requirements involve the P-8A Anti-Submarine Warfare Signal Intelligence Modified Scanner Antenna Unit, as well as select components for the AN/ALQ-240 ESM and the EA-18G Growler Airborne Electronic Attack Suite. These services support the government’s Fleet Support Team, Repair Depot, and Logistics Information Management Team.
This proposed contract action adds approximately $2.8 million in ceiling and an additional year to the performance period. NSWC Crane plans to negotiate this modification on a sole source basis with CAES Systems LLC under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, as utilizing another source would result in unacceptable delays and costs. The requirement is classified under NAICS 541330 Engineering Services and PSC L058 Technical Representative- Communication, Detection, and Coherent Radiation Equipment. There is no set-aside designated for this action.
Interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation by the response deadline of March 30, 2026, to the point of contact, Trey Smith. The government will use information received to determine whether to change the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be provided directly by the contracting office rather than posted to SAM.gov. All participating contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management.
