View moreSpecifications: The Contractor shall manufacture, test, inspect, package and deliver the 5.56mm M1042 Loose and M1071 Linked Marking Ammunition Cartridges in accordance with the Military Performance Specifications (P-SPECs) MIL-PRF-32313 and MIL-PRF-32315, which shall be the government documents / requirements. The anticipated solicitation will provide details on how to obtain these military specifications.
Planned Acquisition: The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract with five one-year ordering periods (OPs) from Fiscal Year (FY) 26-31. The contract award will be based upon Other Than Full and Open Competition (OTF&OC), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is a Sole Source, full-scale production contract to Ultimate Training Munitions, United Kingdom with a possible maximum limit of contractor’s obligation to deliver a cumulative total of 255M 5.56mm M1042 Loose and M1071 Linked Marking Ammunition Cartridges.
The following Ordering Periods are anticipated:
Ordering Period (OP) 1: 12 months from date of award
OP 2: 12 months from the end of OP1
OP 3: 12 months from end of OP2
