A solicitation will be issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for five (6) NSNs: 1. 1560-00-531-6887, DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLY used on the EA-6B Aircraft. 2. 1560-00-170-5432, LEVER ASSEMBLY, FLAP used on the EA-6B Aircraft. 3. 1560-00-397-0194, HOUSING, BALL JOINT used on the KC-135 Aircraft. 4. 1560-00-566-3593, FITTING ASSEMBLY, DO used on the C-130 Aircraft. 5. 1560-00-572-2559, DRUM, PARATROOP DOOR used on the C-130 Aircraft. 6. 1560-00-890-3688, BOLT ASSY, RAMP LOCK used on the EA-6B Aircraft. The award will be for a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods. The Estimated Annual Quantities (EAQ) are as follows: 1560-00-531-6887: Base Year EAQ = 8 each; Option Years EAQ: 8 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. . This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (sam.gov). The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
