This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is a Brand Name or Equal, Unrestricted and is open to all concerns under North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS) 532283 Home Health Equipment Rental with a standard size of $41.0 million and Product Service Code (PSC) W065 - Lease or Rental of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. The government expects this announcement to result in a Firm-Fixed Price Single-Award contract. The MEDVAMC at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030 will hold a Specialized Medical Bed Rental Fair on September 6, 2024, from 9:00am thru 2:00pm (CT) at Building (BLDG) 100, Auditorium Room Number 4A-300. Vendors will use loading dock number five (5) located in the warehouse/basement area at MEDVAMC BLDG. 100. It is best for vendors to come in Entrance #70 off Old Spanish Trail (OST) to enter loading docks area, map in Section D of RFQ provided.
