This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type action was awarded (FAR 16.301-2). Title: Consolidated Product-line Management Next (CPM Next) Contract Contract Vehicle: Single Award ID/IQ Contract Award Date: 5 February 2015 Award of the CPM Next ID/IQ contract with an ordering ceiling of $415,000,000 and an ordering period of five years has been made under contract number W900KK-15-D-0003 effective 5 February 2015. Contract award is made to General Dynamics C4 Systems; cage code: 1VNY6. The CPM Next requirement is for the managed evolution of the Live Training Transformation (LT2) Product Line (P/L) and total acquisition life-cycle support to product managers operating within the LT2 P/L Framework. This effort includes the development and maintenance of the LT2 framework and architecture, along with the development and support of the individual products of the LT2 P/L. The goal of this requirement is to ensure and support the compatibility, commonality, and interoperability with current and future LT2 P/L assets and systems, and to maintain this compatibility throughout the acquisition life-cycle.
