The Government will evaluate the past performance of each offeror to determine the degree of confidence that the offeror will successfully perform the contract requirements. Evaluation will consider the relevance, quality, and timeliness of prior work as demonstrated through submitted references and independent government sources. Offerors with no relevant past performance will receive a neutral rating. Past performance will be rated and factored into the overall evaluation as specified in the solicitation.
Offerors, if they wish, can also provide information on problems encountered on the identified contracts and the offeror’s corrective actions. The Government shall consider this information, as well as information obtained from any other sources, when evaluating the offeror’s past performance. The source selection authority shall determine the relevance of similar past performance information.
United States Coast Guard Base New Orleans, LA is accepting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to inspect, maintain, and repair the intrusion detection system (IDS) for the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
It is mandatory to examine the Statement of Work and recommended to visit the facility as per FAR 52.237-1 to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After contract award, a pre-performance conference will be held prior to starting work at Coast Guard Heartland District.
