USCGC CALHOUN CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY

The United States Coast Guard, through the SFLC Procurement Branch 2, has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation under solicitation number 70Z08526P000003 for the USCGC Calhoun Change of Command ceremony. This requirement, categorized under NAICS 532284 (Recreational Goods Rental) and PSC W071 (Lease or Rental of Equipment-Furniture), involves providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to support an event for approximately 200 attendees. The contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial services.

Performance will take place at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Pier Papa in North Charleston, South Carolina. The scope of work includes the delivery, setup, and breakdown of a 40’ x 60’ white ceremony tent, 200 folding chairs, two podiums, four speakers, four drum blower fans, audio equipment, and a table. To protect the flight deck from delamination, the contractor must use padding at all points of contact and secure the tent with water bags or weights. While the ship will provide 110V electrical power, the contractor is responsible for transporting all equipment between the pier and the flight deck.

The schedule requires the tent, table, and chairs to be installed on June 22, 2026, with all other equipment in place by the morning of June 24, 2026.
