Synopsis for Justification & Approval for Information Technology Services for the 5th Signal Command, Europe-Theater Network Operations and Security Center (E-TNOSC) Extension of Services. DESCRIPTION: The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Fort Huachuca intends to award a sole source bridge Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract under the authority of 10 U.S. C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark . This sole source contract will be awarded to Northrop Grumman Information Technology, 7575 Colshire Dr. , Mclean, VA 22102. The requirement is for the existing non-personal Information Technology Services for the 5th Signal Command, Europe-Theater Network Operations and Security Center (E-TNOSC). The bridge contract will be put in place to provide services while acquisition of the E-TNOSC recompete is completed. The bridge will consist of a six month base Ordering Period of 15 July 2013 through 14 January 2014. Follow-on's to current Task Orders, numbered W91RUS-08-D-0008 0034 through W91RUS-08-D-0008 0040, can be issued during that period, and will have Periods of Performance not to exceed six months each. The FAR Clause 52.217-8, quote mark Option to Extend Services quote mark , will be included in the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services, with a size standard of $25.5 Million. This Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract is not a request for competitive proposals nor does its issuance obligate or restrict the Government on its eventual acquisition approach.
