SOLICITATION The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division (WAD), Boulder, CO, on behalf of the DOC, NOAA, Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), Office of Science Support (OSS), NOAA Central and Regional Libraries (NCRL), hereby issues solicitation 1305M321RNRMA0002 as a woman-owned small business set-aside for Library Staffing Services. The Government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from this solicitation. Solicitation Issue Date: November 10, 2020 Questions Due Date: November 16, 2020, 3:00pm MST Proposal Due Date: December 14, 2020, 12:00pm MST Anticipated Award Date: May 1, 2021 The NCRL provides library services to NOAA staff. The NCRL operates the NOAA Central Library (NCL, Silver Spring, MD); the NOAA Miami Regional Library (Miami, FL) and the NOAA Seattle Regional Library (Seattle, WA). The NCRL is part of a larger network of libraries throughout NOAA (NOAA Library Network) that comprise almost 20 libraries located throughout the country that are managed by a variety of line offices and laboratories. The NCRL requires contract staffing in the NOAA Central Library in order to provide library services to NOAA staff. Other NOAA Library Network libraries also require contract staffing in order to provide library services to NOAA staff: currently NWS-NCEP Library at College Park, MD (e.g., Betty Petersen Library) and the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) Library and Archives in Asheville. Currently, no other libraries neither in NCRL nor in the NOAA Library Network require contract staffing, but that might change in the future.
