Mobile Strike Force Vehicle

The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA), acting on behalf of the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD), is seeking sources capable of producing a modified M1117 Armored Security Vehicle designated as the Mobile Strike Force Vehicle (MSFV). This requirement, identified under solicitation number MSFV2025, falls under NAICS code 336992 for Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing and PSC 2355 for COMBAT, ASSAULT, AND TACTICAL VEHICLES, WHEELED. The government anticipates a total order of 65 vehicles with a performance period for complete production and delivery within three years.

The MSFV must provide ballistic protection for the crew compartment and support a payload of up to 5,000 lbs while carrying up to 10 persons. Technical specifications include the capability to mount the MK-19 Grenade Machine Gun and M-2 .50 caliber machine gun for concurrent firing from inside the turret, as well as interchangeable external mounts for M2, M240, and M249 machine guns.
