THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BIDS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION OR STATEMENT OF WORK AVAILABLE. The office of Mission Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting at Fort Polk, Louisiana solicits for Capabilities Statement from all qualified and interested parties for Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) firms, and HUBZone Small Business firms for a possible requirement for post wide pest management. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, clothing and transportation to perform integrated pest management techniques in accordance with contract requirements post wide at Fort Polk, LA including Toledo Bend Recreation Site, Peason Ridge, MOUT Complex site, Ranges, Bonner Lake and Alligator Lake, the Passenger Processing Facility at England Airpark, Alexandria, LA and other properties owned or leased by Fort Polk. The Scope of Work excludes the Family Housing Area. The work includes the performance of nuisance, structural, stored products, household pests, limited mosquitoes and biting flies, fly larvae, and other miscellaneous pest control services. Contractor would be required to have knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations concerning environmental protection, hazardous and toxic material, pesticide use and application, mixing and storage, disposition, protective equipment, transportation, spills and fires. Interested contractors shall include the following information in their Capabilities Statement: a) Socio-economic category with proof of certification in CCR b) Limited references of past and/or recent projects of same or like services, and magnitude. c) Proof of capability to perform pest management service, i.e. list equipment, number of employees, and past performance reference. d) Licensing, Certifications of Pesticides Applicators. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561710. Interested parties should review their Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). The contractor must have the capability to submit payment requests using the following electronic form: Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). Information regarding WAWF-RA is available on the Internet at https://wawf.eb.mil. The Capabilities Statement for this Sources Sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the companys ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to pest management. This synopsis is for information purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the sources sought. Responses must be received no later than November 23, 2009 by 3:00 p.m., CENTRAL TIME.
