Sources Sought with Intent to Establish Master Ship Repair Agreements This announcement is a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to determine interested parties, socioeconomic status, availability, capabilities, and qualifications. The Government intends to use responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions for future ship repair and maintenance requirements for the Dredge ESSAYONS and Dredge YAQUINA vessels by establishing Master Ship Repair Agreements (MSRAs) with capable repair facilities. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District is seeking sources for MSRAs under NAICS Code 336611 Ship Building and Repairing. NOTE: Requirements for MSRAs have changed for Portland District. MSRAs have been cancelled. All interested contractors must respond to this notice to be eligible to receive a job order for future work, though a site visit may not be required for those shipyards that have performed services for Portland District since 1 May 2017. Anticipated Schedule Items (subject to change): Application for MSRA response date/time: 03 August 2021@ 10:00 AM PDT Government shipyard on-site review period: 19 Julythrough early August Job Order Invitation for Bid (IFB): Early August 2021 Ship visits during IFB period: Early August through mid August. Multiple dates foreach ship will be made available for these mandatory ship visits. Bid Opening: Early September 2021 Award of Job Orders: Mid September 2021 Vendors interested in entering into an MSRA with Portland District must submit the documentation and meet the requirements identified in the general requirements document attached to this announcement.
