6550--Intent to Sole Source Polymedco IFOBT CPT

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Polymedco, Inc of Cortlandt Manor, NY to provide Immunochemical Fecal Occult Blood testing (iFOBT) for The VISN 12 VAMC locations in Wisconsin, Illinois and Upper Michigan. This contract will be a BPA against NAC contract 36F79720D0016. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 8.405-6, only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 334516. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
