Registration, Storage and Distribution of Chemicals and Drugs for Pre-Clinical Discovery Evaluation and Development

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD) requires support services to operate and maintain the National Cancer Institute's Chemotherapeutic Agents Repository (NCI-CAR). This contract supports the Developmental Therapeutics Program (DTP) in the discovery and development of new cancer therapeutic agents through compound acquisition for pre-clinical drug evaluation and the distribution of chemicals to intramural and extramural investigators. The contractor is responsible for systematic record keeping of current and archival repository data and the reacquisition of samples for ongoing chemical and biological studies. Performance takes place in Rockville, Maryland, under the direction of the National Institutes of Health.
