Fly- Tent Sunscreens

The USDA Forest Service, Incident Procurement Logistics, has issued solicitation number 1202SC26K2704 as a combined synopsis and solicitation for fly-tent sunscreens. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside under the SBA (Small Business Administration) program. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 314910, Textile Bag and Canvas Mills, and PSC code 8340, TENTS AND TARPAULINS. Performance is located in Montana, and all responsible small business sources may submit a quotation for consideration.

The scope of work involves providing 20’ x 20’ fly sunscreens constructed from 80% black sunscreen shade cloth mesh fabric. Each sunscreen must feature #5.5 grommets spaced every two feet on all four sides and include ten guy ropes made of quarter-inch thick Neocord measuring 25 feet in length. Each rope requires a one-inch round, four-inch long wooden dowel with two holes. The finished products are to be packaged in regular slotted RSC cartons measuring 23” x 19” x 10”.
