The Southeastern Regional HW Incineration Contract involves the removal, transportation, incineration or other thermal treatment, and final disposal of various waste types. Regulated materials include RCRA hazardous wastes, non-RCRA wastes, PCB wastes, and both state- and non-state regulated wastes. These materials are generated by U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Coast Guard installations across seven contiguous states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. While specific pickup locations are identified in the solicitation, the Government may add new locations within the region throughout the life of the contract.
