16--OUTER CYLINDER,LAND, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, has issued a presolicitation notice for the procurement of aircraft landing gear components under solicitation number N0038325QM277. The requirement is for six units of an outer cylinder, identified by NSN 7R-1620-010676055-VF and part number 14-41602-501. This acquisition is classified under PSC 1620 for Aircraft Landing Gear Components. All articles must be manufactured, tested, and inspected in accordance with the latest drawings and revisions from the Original Equipment Manufacturer, CAGE 70974. Delivery is set for FOB Origin, and the government will accept early deliveries at no additional cost.

Prospective offerors are requested to provide quotes for the primary quantity of six, as well as alternate quantities of two, five, eight, and ten units. Proposals must include applicable cost data sheets and material cost documentation, such as invoices or sub-vendor quotes. Sources other than the OEM or manufacturer must submit traceability documentation, including a supplier of record certificate of conformance or OEM approved source designation. If an item has been superseded, the offeror must furnish a validation or data request addressing interchangeability and applicability along with the updated part number.

These items require government source approval prior to award. Unapproved sources are required to submit the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their proposal. Evaluation of source approval requests is subject to fleet support needs and the ability to meet government requirements in a timely manner.
