Demolition/Removal of Group 811 Bunkers

The USDA Forest Service, Eastern Region, has awarded several Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the demolition and removal of Group 811 Bunkers located in Wilmington, Illinois. This project, categorized under NAICS 238910 for Site Preparation Contractors and PSC code P, involved a full and open competition among small businesses. The scope of work includes the demolition of bunkers as well as associated seeding and mulching services.

Following the receipt of 19 timely offers, the government selected the five lowest-priced technically acceptable offerors for BPA awards. The selected contractors include Charpie Construction Company Inc of Chicago, Illinois; Kodat Farms Excavation of Morris, Illinois; Cherry Creek Recycling LLC of Parker, Colorado; Grosshening Inc of Joliet, Illinois; and Advanced Integrated Solutions, LLC of Inkster, Michigan. Future task orders for these services will be competed exclusively among these five BPA holders.

The highest ceiling price established for the individual bunker demonstrations, including seeding and mulching, is $68,700 per unit.
