Iraq Governance and Performance Accountability Project (IGPA)

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Iraq has issued a Justification and Approval (J&A) for the Iraq Governance and Performance Accountability Project (IGPA/Takamul) under solicitation number SOL-267-16-000005. This action authorizes DAI Global, LLC to expand its support to the Government of Iraq (GOI) following a strategic shift in bilateral relations and a formal request for assistance during a period of economic instability, civil unrest, and the COVID-19 pandemic. The expansion, valued at an estimated $12,000,000, focuses on immediate and follow-through actions to bolster an independent and sovereign Iraq. Specific objectives include reviewing the GOI national budget cycle, enhancing capacity to manage fiscal risks, and improving cash management for both the GOI and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). Additionally, the project provides support for alternative investment financing schemes and facilitates greater coordination between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning.
