Classification Code: 5342 NAICS Code: 332993 This notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award on a limited sources bases to Action Manufacturing Company and General Dynamics OTS, Inc. to produce Large - M423 Fuze Kits (Less Booster and Lead) for the Mk 152 Mod 0 Warhead. Award is expected to be made in August 2021 with deliveries specified in each delivery order, over a five (5) year period, after date of award. Place of performance is at contractor site. Delivery destinations are NSWC IHD, 5021 Safe Haven Way, Building 1103, Indian Head, MD 20640 (for the S&A Device) and NSWC IHD, 4522 McMahon Road, Suite 100, Building 116, Indian Head, MD 20640 (for remaining components). Action Manufacturing and General Dynamics OTS Inc. are the only two approved sources to manufacture the Large - M423 Fuze Kit (Less Booster and Lead) for the Navy. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a Limited Source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Limited Sources as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
