National Institutes of Health Compress Gas Services

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations is soliciting proposals to support the NIH Supply Center Compressed Gases Program. This program serves the NIH community’s compressed gas requirements at various on-campus and off-campus locations. The selected contractor will provide all necessary personnel, specialized tools, and materials to furnish, refill, and maintain compressed gases and gas mixtures within cylinders owned by the agency. The program currently supports nine different gas options for these agency-owned cylinders.

The work is performed at NIH facilities in Bethesda, Maryland, and other locations within a 50-mile radius. This requirement is identified under NAICS 325120 Industrial Gas Manufacturing and PSC 6830 GASES: COMPRESSED AND LIQUEFIED. The contractor is responsible for ensuring all gases and mixtures meet the specifications required for the NIH facilities.
