Railroaded Cubicle Curtains for Womack Army Medical Center. The curtains will go inside of the patient’s room replacing the worn curtains or installing them where needed. The vendor will only supply the curtains. They will be installed by Womack personnel.

Minimum Clinical Performance Requirements
-Overall, Curtain length with mesh: To be determined by Contractor based on criteria of 12” above finished floor, (AFF), allow 56” for panel height and 20” (+/-) at mesh for a total of 76’’ length, with the width of 136’’.
-Curtain Fullness: Length of track plus 12% additional fullness
-Curtain Heading: Standard track heading;” gauge double needle lock stitch, 100% mercerized cotton thread
-Curtain Hems: Double turned, twin needle stitched, 100% mercerized cotton thread
-Curtain Hem Size: 1” Double-stitched bottom and side hem
-Fabric Testing: Passes National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) 701
-Mesh: 100% Nylon; “Z” folded to the body of the curtain
-Mesh opening size: ½” aperture
-Mesh portion to consist of (+/-) 30” of large-scale heavy nylon mesh
-Top 1 ¼” woven selvage banding shall be folded before final sewing
-Double row stitching 7/8” inch apart shall be used on all banding
-Provide beige/aluminum snaps, Dia.: .5”; anodized aluminum or painted white snaps
-Snaps located every 4” o. C
-Privacy curtain fabric panels shall be installed to provide continuous track coverage by overlapping each panel 4 inches and vertical snaps provided for privacy between panels on 8” o. C Provide beige/aluminum snaps, Dia.: .5”; anodized aluminum or painted white snaps.
