Notice of Intent to Sole Source: OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL TO INCLUDE STARTUP AND DECOMISSIONING SUPPORT, GROUNDWATER TRANSFER AND INJECTION PILOT STUDY PROJECT, VICKSBURG DISTRICT, US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District intends to award a sole-source contract to ASR Systems, LLC, for Architect and Engineer services. This project involves the development of a detailed Operations and Maintenance manual, which includes technical training, startup support, and closeout decommissioning guidance for the Groundwater Transfer and Injection Pilot (GTIP) study. This study is designed to document the effectiveness of groundwater injection within the Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer (MRVAA) in Mississippi.

The procurement is classified under NAICS 541330 for Engineering Services and will be a stand-alone contract with a performance period of up to three years. The government intends to proceed with a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), as it has determined that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency’s requirements.
