NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit a sole-source contract with Northrop Grumman Systems Corp (CAGE: 1LTU5) for the repair of specific electronic components. The requirement includes the repair of 25 warning sensors (NSN: 0098-LLZ98S302), 12 countermeasure processors (NSN: 5865-016883631), and 10 countermeasure signal processors (NSN: 5865-017163607). The solicitation does not include a set-aside, and the set-aside metadata indicates NONE. Performance will take place in the USA, and the procurement is subject to Unique Identification (UID) and Buy American requirements. Although the government does not currently intend to use FAR Part 12 policies for commercial items, interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Furthermore, while this is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive proposals, all capability statements or proposals received by the May 22, 2026, response deadline will be considered to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
Technical drawings and data are not available for this effort, and firms not already approved must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) for consideration, though the procurement will not be delayed pending SAR approval. Shamus F. Roache is the designated point of contact for this pre-solicitation, identified by solicitation number N0038326RPB22_Repost.
