The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District (MVK), intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation No. W912EE24R0002 for INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) FOR MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND TRIBUTARIES (MR&T) MISSISSIPPI RIVER LEVEES (MRL) PROGRAM CONSTRUCTION OF LEVEE ENLARGEMENT AND BERMS. MVK proposes to award Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs), with a Not to Exceed (NTE) total, combined contract capacity of $99.5M and a five-year (60 month) ordering period. Features of the work include furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform studies, investigations, designs, and construction of compacted, semi-compacted, and un-compacted embankments forlevees and berms utilizing Government furnished riverside or landside borrow areas as well as installation of relief wells alongthe toe of the levee. Other mission requirements include clearing and grubbing, ditching, furnishing and installing culverts andcattle guards, construction of drainage structures in borrow areas, establishment of turf, and crushed stone or asphalt paving onthe levee crown along the Mississippi River Levee within the Vicksburg District. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 for each Task Order issued. Individual Task Orders will be issued throughout the life of the contract and will designate the location(s) of levee construction and enlargement of berms.
