The Forest Service, through the USDA-FS Stewardship Contracting Branch, is soliciting quotations for the Dave Wood DxP Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC). This project aims to improve forest health and reduce hazardous fuels within the Wildland Urban Interface to mitigate catastrophic wildfire risks. Primary objectives include thinning ponderosa pine plantations from below to an average 16x16-foot spacing, targeting a residual basal area of 70–90 square feet per acre in an irregular pattern.
