F--8(A)FIXED-PRICE ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION SERVICES FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

8(a) sole source contract was awarded to NOREAS, Inc., contract N62473-12-D-2016 on September 20, 2012 The contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract. The services to be acquired will be to perform environmental remedial actions; removal actions; remedial design; expedited and emergency response actions; pilot and treatability studies; remedial action systems operation and maintenance; and other related activities associated with returning sites to safe and acceptable levels of contamination. Remedial actions may include, but will not be limited to capping landfills, pump-and-treat remediation, bioremediation, soil vapor extraction, natural attenuation, bioventing, air sparging, thermal treatment, phytoremediation, soil washing, and free product recovery. The work to be ordered under this contract will be performed at various locations in California primarily in Southern California under the responsibility of Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest (NAVFAC SW). The exact location of the required effort will be specified in the individual Contract Task Orders. This contract ceiling is $4,000,000 with a one-year base period, and two one-year option periods.
