Question 2: p/n 7273879(TSPR2-1) is called out on all drawings, but the manufacturer says that part is obsolete. Do you have a replacement or do we need to find one?

Question 1: The solicitation requires that offerors comply with NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-020/MLDG REV 2 requirements, and provide a certificate. Would an offer be deemed unresponsive if a vendor asserted that they were in process of gaining a certification, but did not yet have one?
Answer 1: As a result of the above question, N6660423Q0157 Amendment 0001 revises Section L INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS paragraph 3.0 to state that offerors shall provide a copy of its (or its proposed subcontractor’s) NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-020/MLDG REV 2 certificate to demonstrate it has the required certification, or shall provide proof that it will have obtained a NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO- 020/MLDG REV 2 certificate no later than 1 June 2023. In accordance with FAR 5.203(c) this soliciation is open for at least 30 days. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N6660423Q0157.
For pricing purposes, the anticipated award date of this contract is 1 July 2023, and the total Ordering Period of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be five (5) years from date of award.
This requirement is being solicited to full and open competition, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees.
