Live Open and Closed Captioning Support

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires live open and post captioning support for approximately 200 annual events, including open agenda meetings, press conferences, public workshops, field hearings, and training programs. These services are classified under NAICS 541930 Translation and Interpretation Services and PSC R608 SUPPORT- ADMINISTRATIVE: TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING. The required support covers events that vary in length and requirements, occurring over the course of the fiscal year at the FCC headquarters in Washington, DC, and various other geographic locations across the United States.

The agency intends to procure these services by establishing a multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with two vendors. Award selections will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) quotes submitted in response to solicitation 273FCC24Q0016. The solicitation includes four attachments: a vendor question template with government responses, the primary RFQ document, a pricing sheet, and an initial question template.
