Sole Source-Microsoft Technology Services

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) intends to issue a sole source order to Planet Technologies, Inc, 20400 Observation Drive, Suite 204, Germantown, MD for Microsoft Technology Services. The objective of the contract is to assist APHIS in addressing critical infrastructure needs to design, develop, implement and support Microsoft technologies, solutions and applications to adequately enable authentication, access, integration and functional use for business requirements. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The NAICS code is 541519, Other Computer Related Services. NOTE: 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
