The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Disposition Service - EBS, issued solicitation SP450026R0008 for the removal, transportation, treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. This work supports United States Department of War installations located in Israel and across Eastern Europe, including Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden. While the primary place of performance is identified as Germany, additional Eastern European countries may be added for waste removals or special services support over the lifetime of the contract.

This requirement is classified under NAICS 562211 Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal and PSC S222 HOUSEKEEPING- WASTE TREATMENT/STORAGE. There is no set-aside (NONE) for this procurement. In addition to core disposal tasks, the contractor provides various support services including sampling and analytical services, equipment rental, industrial cleaning, overpacking, lab packing, and the removal of appliances containing ozone-depleting substances. The scope excludes infectious or biohazardous medical wastes, controlled pharmaceutical wastes, radioactive wastes, and materials potentially presenting an explosive hazard.
