Demilitarization and Disposal of Depleted Uranium

To update with Amendment 0001 The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on behalf of Product Director Demilitarization, issues a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-20-R-0004 with a closing date of 23 November 2020. This RFP is for the demilitarization and disposal of Depleted Uranium (DU) Munitions, using a best value evaluation approach in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-1 Alt 1. The following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Groups will be included in the RFP: CLIN Group 1: 20mm / 25mm Cartridges CLIN Group 2: 30mm Cartridges CLIN Group 3: 105mm / 120mm Cartridges The applicable NAICS code is 332993, Ammunition (except Small Arms) Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1500 employees. The U.S. Government intends to award one five-year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Minimum Guaranteed Quantity (MGQ) will be awarded concurrently with the awardof the contract. During the life of this contract (Date of Award - 1825 DAA), the U.S. Government is entitled to order a maximum total quantity of the following: CLIN Group 1 - 882,953 each 20mm Cartridges and 915,164 each 25mm Cartridges CLIN Group 2 - 9,792,610 each 30mm Cartridges CLIN Group 3 - 74,890 each 105mm Cartridges and 123,523 each 120mm Cartridges Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFP.
