V -- Office Relocation

This is a Request for Proposal for office relocation of Federal Agencies within the responsibility of the Public Building Services GSA Region 6 in both Federal owned and leased space. The geographical coverage consists of the states of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. This is a performance based commercial acquisition. This request for proposal is issued as a Small Business SET ASIDE competitive under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 4212, NAICS code is 484210 and the related Small Business Size Standard is $21.5 million. We will issue a Requirements Type Contract with no minimum amount of guarantee. Services are to include the moving and transporting of office furniture, (dismantling and assembling furniture if needed), office partitions, etc equipment, supplies and occasional heavy specialty equipment and assembly thereof. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment (truck, fuel), tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services, unless specified as provided by the Government. Period of Performance is for one base year and four one-year options. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. The Solicitation should be issued on or around August 9th, 2006. Due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies will not be available.
