Timber Sale Preparation and Professional Forestry Services

The United States Forest Service, National Forests in Mississippi, is soliciting proposals for timber sale preparation and professional forestry services on lands within its administrative boundaries. Contractors are required to provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, licenses, supervision, and expertise necessary to perform sale unit layout, boundary flagging, GPS acreage determination, timber cruising, timber marking, and stand examination. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under SBA SBA and is classified under NAICS 115310 Support Activities for Forestry and PSC code F.

The solicitation will result in the award of performance-based, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts. The basic period of performance begins on the date of award and runs through December 31, 2018, with the possibility of four one-year option periods. Award will be determined based on best value to the Government and may be made on initial offers. All work is situated in Forest, Mississippi, and the response deadline for solicitation 12447U18R0006 is April 10, 2018.
