Timber Sale Preparation and Professional Forestry Services

The National Forests in Mississippi is soliciting for timber sale preparation and professional forestry services on lands within its administrative boundaries. For this requirement, the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, licenses, supervision, expertise, and other incidentals necessary to successfully complete sale unit layout, boundary flagging, GPS acreage determination, timber cruising, timber marking, stand examination and associated professional forestry services. This is a request for proposals which will result in performance-based, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts for a basic period of performance from date of award through December 31, 2018, plus four (4) one-year option periods. Submission of an offer for the basic contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the option period(s), if exercised. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government and can be made on initial offers.
