2.0 Scope of Work
The requirement is for a contractor to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and facilities to apply a factory-grade finish to new, unfinished wood furniture and millwork. A more detailed description of the requirement is located in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW). All work shall be performed at the contractor's facility.
3.0 Urgency of Requirement
The Government has an urgent need for these finishing services to complete critical projects. The finished items are required back at the shipyard as soon as possible. Responses to this RFI will help the Government understand realistic turnaround times within the industry.
4.0 Draft Statement of Work
Attached to this RFI is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) that describes the current anticipated requirement. This SOW is for market research and planning purposes only and is subject to change. The Government is not bound by the contents of this Draft SOW. All interested parties are encouraged to review the Draft SOW in its entirety before responding to this RFI.
5.0 Information Requested from Interested Parties
Interested parties who believe they are capable of performing the services described are requested to respond to this RFI with a capabilities statement. Please limit your response to no more than seven (7) pages. Your response should, at a minimum, include the information requested in subsections 1 through 6 below.
