The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals for the EHRM Training Support Renovation at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC in Jackson, Mississippi. This 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside involves renovating approximately 8,400 square feet on the 4th floor of Building 5. The project will convert existing lab space into training and administrative facilities to support Electronic Health Record Modernization. Construction is estimated between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work includes demolishing lab services and installing new walls, flooring, ceilings, HVAC, and electrical systems. The contract has a 365-day performance period. Proposals are due July 3, 2026, and require a 20% bid guarantee. Evaluation is based on a Past Performance-Price Tradeoff. Technical requirements include infection control, asbestos abatement, and mandatory OSHA certifications for all site personnel. Work will take place in an active medical facility, requiring strict adherence to infection control, negative pressure standards, and asbestos abatement protocols. Contractors must also comply with Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations for Hinds County, Mississippi. Convert existing research laboratory space into a training and command center for EHRM deployment.
