N00164-18-R-JN64 - SOLE SOURCE - 40MM MK47 ADVANCED LIGHTWEIGHT GRENADE LAUNCHER (ALGL) WEAPON SYSTEMS SUSTAINMENT - FSC 1010 - NAICS 332994 Anticipated Issue Date: 09 APR 2018 - Anticipated Closing Date: 09 MAY 2018 - Time 2:00 PM EST Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the sustainment of the 40mm MK47 Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher (ALGL) Weapon System. This procurement will include spare and repair parts for the ALGL and associated sub-assemblies and components. The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, General Dynamics- OTS, Inc., 326 IBM Road Bldg. 862, Williston, VT 05495, under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(4) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is being sole sourced because General Dynamics-OTS, Inc. possesses the necessary Technical Data Package, resources, engineering capability and technical expertise to manufacture the Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher and sustainment parts. The Government intends to enter into a five (5) year Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an option of an additional five (5) year ordering period with General Dynamics- OTS, Inc. Anticipated award date is December 2018. Delivery is required within 120 days after effective date of contract award, FOB Destination, with inspection and acceptance performed at Destination. The contract minimum is $3,000 and maximum $12,500,000. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
